Introducing Dr. Henry McCoy.

I love this idea! I got an order for a sock monkey to help the ring bearer of a wedding.
Who wants a lifeless little pillow, when you could have this little guy?

Here are my latest sock monkeys.

My most challenging Sock creation to date is finally finished!
I had never heard of this character but thanks to a great sketch and description I think I found him in the socks.

I love summer! It is so much easier to get good lighting outside. Here are my 3 latest sock monkeys.
First up - Dr. Zira from Planet of the Apes. Her ‘do’ was a challenge, but with the right yarn it came out nice.

Then came a character I’d never heard of - Sun Wukong or [...]

I have wanted to make a girl counterpart to the Outdoor Monkey for a long time. (I secretly think of this monkey as like me, cause I love the outdoors. )
I finally got an order for one so there was no more excuses! Here she is, and she is a fan of the Iowa [...]

This Sock Monkey will have the duty to go cheer for the Iowa Hawkeyes!

Another first for me- my first Golf Club Cover. A special order from our friend Shannon Grissom. She liked the idea of a golf club cover made in the likeness of her famous sock monkey.

Thanks for another great idea Shannon!

What little girl doesn’t like pink ballerinas? Well, some do, but I think the little todler this sock monkey is intended for likes pink ballerinas.

Not that anyone is keeping track, but she is #140… I can’t believe I’ve made that many monkeys. ^.^

This was a fun pair of sock monkeys to make. They were ordered as a gift for a very neat man who travels the world and does nice things for people. Lately, he has been helping to build schools in Afghanistan.

Latest Outdoor Monkey~ I love getting orders for these because I get to knit.

I sent out 5 naked sock monkeys today. They are off to a book signing for Everything’s Coming Up Sock Monkeys!
I had a little fun taking thier picture.

He took me weeks and was the most challenging costume I have ever attempted, but he is finally finished. Yay!!!

Don Quixote- Sock Simian is on his way to the Dominican Republic to be the office mascot for a team working to promote democracy in that country. A fitting mascot, I think.
 More Monkeys.

Three new cuties headed out for their new homes.
I love these bright rainbow socks.

Next up is a basic Outdoor style Sock Monkey with the exception of custom ears.

Last but not least, a cute Lawyer in a Vested Suit.

This week was a busy one for Sock Monkeys.
First another Stunt Doube for our beloved Monkey Made of Sockies, by Shannon Grissom.

Then an adorable ‘baby-safe’ Lavender Girl Sock Monkey for a different Shannon.
I used all soft fabrics so it would be very huggable.

Lastly a Jedi baddy for Frank.

I really need help with my [...]

Mr. T and the Lawyer

A couple new Sock Monkeys left for new homes this week.
First was a Blonde Lawyer Sock Monkey from San Fransisco. He’s a little cutie, posing like a model, for the camera.

Then I finished up a custom order for Andrew, who fell in love with the Mr. T sock monkey on Craftster and had to have [...]

I just finished a group of Sock Monkeys today! I am so glad to get these guys out the door.
They are for the sweetest grandma. She had one set made for each of her three granddaughters.

More Sock Monkeys here!

I have been working hard to get caught up on the gift orders since I’ve been home. I think I said last year, ” I should make up monkeys ahead of time so I have some available for adoption at the end of the year.”
This time I wrote it down on my new calendar for [...]

Here are a few of my most recent Sock Monkeys.
