I recently decided to make a tissue box cover for my desk. I am an allergy sufferer and thus, have a tissue box on my desk all the time, and boy, are they ugly boxes!
I thought other people might like to cover them up too- so I launched a little store on Etsy.

I love seeing vintage crafts. Especially up close.
Recently, I was sent a very cute monkey that needed to be rebuilt.
Luckily- I had the technology.
You can see even in the before pictures she is a beautiful piece of work- just a bit torn up.

Yesterday was the sock monkey making party. We had a great range in ages and all had a great time! Thanks to Briah for being my co-hostess.

Amigurumi is a Japanese style of making stuffed toys. You use very tightly spaced single crochet, usually in the round.
This little guy is named Pom Pom. He is a character on the internet comic website Homestar runner.
